COMPETE AT ICHE 2022!
 

We are pleased to host a student competition at the 14th International Conference on Hydroscience & Engineering, Izmir, Turkey. The competition is open to all graduate students. Two levels of competition, master’s and doctorate, give you the chance to present your research and ideas in an international medium. Two young researchers, one for each level, will be selected based on the excellence of their research paper and oral presentation for the 1st place. The conference registration fee will be reimbursed for the 1st place winners in both levels, and recognition will be given with commemorative plaques to 2nd and 3rd places at both levels.

All student competition participants are required to present their research. If you cannot present, you will be eliminated from the competition. Research papers can be on collaborative research carried out by multiple authors, including non-students, but must be presented by the student.

The student research competition is a juried track. The papers and the presentations of the attendees will be reviewed by a jury of experts who will evaluate the work based on paper’s overall quality, originality, relevance to ICHE, and the communication, comprehension, and engagement of the presentation.

Who Can Attend?

​

Students enrolled in graduate (masters and doctorate levels) programs. Active student status is needed by the time of the congress (program graduates as of May 27th, 2022 cannot apply). A valid student ID or an official document provided by a college or university that proves your enrollment status is required.

Participation Recognition  

​

Six awards will be presented at the awards ceremony: Best paper at master’s level, best paper at the doctorate level, and recognition is given to 2nd and 3rd places in each level.
